I left a job in the City to follow my dream.
With a tiny budget and a lot of enthusiasm, I started a fish & chip shop called The Seacow. Shortly after, I got together with some friends and we took on a pub, up the road, in East Dulwich.
One day, two of our regulars, Josie and Rob came in for fish and chips. We chatted about their fledgling event and if we could help with the food. So we thought about it, invested in a trailer and set off South to this new event, Bestival.
Many fields later, I’m proud to say we’ve served thousands of hungry revellers all over the UK, from Latitude to Glastonbury to Silverstone. However, our ethos remains the same today as it did at that early Bestival. Serve a great product that you believe in with care and a smile and they’ll always come back.
